Homework: | Consists of two components: quantum programming tasks (30% of grade) that you need to complete individually, and written exercises (30% of grade) that you may complete together, but submit your own written version of the solutions. Due as announced. You will receive 50% credit for late homework. |
Participation: | Attendance and participation in class discussions are expected. Participation includes taking notes, asking and answering questions, going over your notes after class, and asking further questions until everything is clear. |
Project: | Working in groups of 3-4 students, you need to do a project selected after consultation with the Instructor by Thu., Feb. 6, do the quantum programming, get results, and write a paper (outline due by Thu., Mar. 5, final by Thu., Apr. 23). |
Grade: | 60% homework; 40% project. |
